A short overview of how Dropplite treats your files, devices, and traffic.
What does Dropplite actually do?
Dropplite keeps selected folders in sync across your devices and creates scheduled backups. It does not publish your files publicly or act as a social network.
How is my data protected?
All transfers use encrypted channels. You can protect your account with strong passwords and, where supported, additional security checks. Never share your login details with others.
Does Dropplite share files with other people?
By default Dropplite is designed for private use: syncing and backing up your own files and team workspaces. You stay in control of which devices and people have access.
Can I control network usage?
Yes. You can configure schedules and bandwidth limits so Dropplite runs quietly when it suits you, for example outside of working hours.
